How Did We Do It?

A national clothing store chain wanted to understand how young women used smartphone apps and mobile websites while shopping for clothing.

Diane moderated focus groups to understand consumer behavior regarding mobile surfing and mobile purchase habits as well as the importance of app features to enhance the shopping experience.The results of the research were used to improve the client’s mobile app to meet customers’ needs and to be competitive with other similar stores.

A major hospital group needed research-based data around the user experience on the patient website.  The client wanted to understand how current and new website visitors were looking to engage with clinical content and decision pathways.

Diane Okrent moderated focus groups among various patient and potential patient constituencies. Learning from the research led to improvements in the website that enhanced the user experience.
